A Lady's Right to Slippers.

Location: B12.3A, Sunway, Malaysia.

Some people has had bad experiences with the eye shadows they tried and thought was pretty just before she pay for them but regretted ever since; some had bad luck with the list Mr. Right look-alikes before dating (but only to find out they ‘re Mr. NoNo at best).

For me, it’s just all about the slippers.

Yes. Those really annoyingly fragile (annoying for their frailness) flip flops. Those who have heard me complain for the past year will sure be surprise at the beginning of the slippers-turnover rate in my life.

The Longest Lasting Ones. Slippery and Worn Out as it May Seemed.

Unlike Lynnie who knew the advantages of having branded flip-flops, I'm just plain dumb and stubborn to not believing in any flip-flops that cost more than RM 30. I mean, with that amount of money, I can save ‘em pinks, blues and purples (in case you don't understand, they're the colours of Malaysia's currency) up and buy some really good sport shoes right?

Highly Water-resistant. Not So Cool Looking Though.

Oh, and yea, those bad experiences don’t only end with those sporty flip flops, they happen with every pair of slippers I HAVE/HAD. It’s like I have bad juju, or maybe it’s my feet, the way I wear the slippers, or maybe the road I walk on. And that’s why I always ended up wearing my mom’s slippers (which made her so ultimately proud because she thinks this proves that I agree with her sense of taste. I mean common!! And this is coming from a woman who thinks that I, TYJ, am into stuffed animals!).

This reminds me of that poor beanie that was neglected for centuries (and got dust bunnies intact to prove the ancient-ness of it) under the small table, under the radio. Common, no offense, but stuffed animals?! You think I like?!

Still Wearable But Worn Out. Another Loyal Soldier Down.

Anyways, back to slippers. My bro did complain about girls shopping about shoes ALL THE TIME but Mr-I-Wear-A-Pair-Of-Slippers-For-All-Occasion, you have to understand, my slippers (or rather, ladies’) slippers ARE fragile! And I’ve got prove to show it.

I Liked This Pair Very Much! Goes With Any and Everything for Me. Spoilt *sniff*

I’ve bought RM 20+ slippers, gone in a week at tops. Then these RM 16 (plus minus) slippers. GONE, in 2 days (can do a parody of gone in 60 seconds, a good movie by the way). Actually anything imported from Thailand (clothes, accessories and footwear) exceeding RM 30 is totally absurd to me. Yes, I’d be a low maintenance girlfriend if anyone’s interested.

The 2-Days Fling. Damn You. So What If You're Pink and Cool Looking?

Actually come to think of it, I hardly buy shoes, heels, pumps, or whatever you kids call nowadays, other than my parents-funded sport shoes, my shoes hardly exceeds RM 60. Only on two occasions recently that I can think of that I did, that was that gorgeously golden but uncomfortably high (which I left in my hometown for ‘break glass in case of emergency’ situations) and that really (imo) awesomely dark golden (yes, I like gold) stripped wedges that make me wanna sing ‘Gold Finger’ while feeling hot gliding on them.

My Wedges... *sparkle*

Oh, then I bought this less than 10 bucks but really cool but a little slippery slippers. I like the pink (duh) and what made it extremely cool was when the colours actually don’t match as a pair, unlike many of the boring matching coloured slippers in the market these days.

My Newest Flip-Flops Hunted Down With Comrade Sher Yen.

The down side was due to my inherited unshapely feet. Flat, wide at the front and weirdly unique looking toes (thanks dad, no offense) which made it unfit for the slippers. Everything else was perfect though. It’s like my dreams for a pair of perfect slippers come true~ Wonder how long will this last.

Mom as my witness (and other friends like Sze Vien who did went shoe-shopping with me), it is a tedious, very tedious job for me to be a pair of footwear that I’m totally satisfied with.

On a totally unrelated topic, mom and dad reached KLIA safely almost 8 hours ago and got back home at about 5 hours ago. I’m happy to hear that Pipi was thrilled to see them and ran away when mom put me on the line to talk to Him. Unfaithful little bastard you.

Since it’s my blog and I’m entitled to crap whatever crap that comes to my crappy mind, I learnt a lot from working with Minni. I’m fortunate enough to be even working with her that she showed me many very old features that I never knew exist in Microsoft Word. She even taught me how to screen shoot a movie~ I tried to use many ways but didn’t work out as I wanted it to be. Thanks to her, I finally took a shot of what I wanted to take a long long time ago~ Another wish successfully came true.

Oh, forgot to mention. I bought this really cool, brand new pepper spray a while back. It's my first pepper spray and figure that I'd mention it for fun. See, fun. Don't know if it's really operable, by brand new I actually meant un-use. Anyone wanna be my guinea pig for fun?

P/s: oh yea, Cynthia fall sick again. Poor girl.
