Happy Dumpling Festival =)

Time: 3:37am
Location: How!5, Clayton.

Oooo, mommy msn-ed me today... telling me it's The Dragon Boat Festival, also called the Duanwu Festival, also called the dumpling festival....
hmm, wonder why everything is food to me... lol.

I used to listen to mommy complain about not able to eat dumpling coz I'm born a day before the 5th day of the 5th month in the chinese/lunar calender.

Grams makes the best Dumpling! She'll make it every year with Er Yi... mommy and daddy even brought some down to KL for me last year. I threw it in the freezer and that 4 dumpling lasted me for quite some time...

p/s: the pics are not the ones made by Grams but sure miss 'em this year =(

So many eff-ing things... so little time.

Time: 3:22am
Location: Comp Room, Howitt.

I'm... Screwed.

Darn you, The Simpsons!

*edited later @ 4:23am*

read this:
"Black Africans account for 73 percent of the population, followed by Whites at 16 percent, Coloureds at 6 percent and Asians at 4 percent"...
Source: http://www.joburg.org.za/content/view/404/52/

There's black, white, Asians... and coloreds? Wait, are you telling me that there's purple or green people in this world that I don't know about?!

Waking up after dark... Geez.

Time: 5:57pm
Location: How!5, Clayton.

OMG... I couldn't believe my eyes when I woke up...

It's 5:30pm, and it's already dark outside!

I slept at around 12pm, to wake up after dark.

This week is gona be hell to me... well, pre-hell, before the real one, aka exam.

haiz... Assignments = headaches.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

and by the by, I think I'm making this a thing from now on. Monday morning/afternoon is cooking time! I was supposed to try this baking thing and it's supposed to last for around 2 meals. But once I started, I couldn't STOP!!

one palm size Field mushroom, one huge white onion (I still don't know what's the difference between white and red onions, despite the color...) around 7 spoon of Dolmio Bolognese pasta sauce, half a bulb of garlic, a can of 425g of Tuna in brine (minus the brine), 3 small fresh chillies, 1/3 of 500g cheddar (sliced, not grated, in retrospect, grated cheese would be better...), 2 eggs, hell lot of ground pepper, many many shakes of McCormick Italian Seasoning Blend later...

It evolved into this HUGE pan of pasta that I think will last me for around 4 meals... excluding today's lunch... lol. It's actually not bad... coz I normally cook without putting salt/sugar. It's a little sweet with that whole clove of onion... and a little salty with the hard layer of cheddar on top. Plus, I prefer eating my stuff spicy than salty/sweet.

- yea, too much cheese. -

These was what I attempted last week... with that 4 for $5 Maggie quick-bake cauliflower thingy... I improvised coz not really a fan of cauliflower.. broccoli tastes much better ok?!

* Before*

*After*

Was so the salty lor... MSG ladden pan of baked vegetables...

Mommy will be proud that I cooked =)

Words to Me...

Time: 8:29am
Location: Comp Room, Howitt lvl 2.

I do enjoy spending time doing this... but am I overdoing it?

Should you not notice... is it worth it?

p/s: It actually looked like autumn from my favorite seat in comp room =)

I took this pic using my computer.. so not very clear ler...

pp/s: I can't wait to finish my assignments and cook Cake Batik!!
(or Cake Lapis for that Sarawakian...
haiz... living in denial.)

Dah Bengkak...

Time: 9:47am

OMG, it's swelling now!!!

I was being so corky yesterday...

I even freaking RAN (like... 5 seconds) in the competition.

Shyt Happened.

Time: 4:03pm
Location: How!5.

OMG!!! I couldn't have picked a WORSE time to sprain/twist my ankle (Kane's been confusing me about the idea of spraining and twisting... So i'm gona use sprain/twist for the whole entry... lol).

Yea. Today's the semi-Finals and FINALS for gals basketball... like... I had to practice just after lunch. I had to ask Kane and Davyn to accompany me (coz if not it'd be boring-er). Davyn had to be in class and won't be off till 2. Kane had to throw the ball (like he aways does...) too hard and the ball had to go over the hoop (not into)... I had to go and jump/snatch the ball (aka rebound) and land with my ankle in a wrong position...

I TWISTED/SPRAINED my eff-ing ANKLE and it's just 2 hours before the match.

I can't even stand, let alone run/play... with my limited basketball skills.

Should I play, despite the stinging pain? It is, afterall... the Finals.

Shyt. Shyt always happens. To me.

p/s: okla, thanks for being my cane la... have to give you credit for that... though technically you did throw the ball.... =p

Little Melodical Moments~

Time: 7:44am
Location: How!5

lol, I've spent too much time meddling with my imeem music list...

Apart of being reaffirmed about the fact that time do flies for the idle, I 'discovered' a few new artists~

Anya Marina and Soko... among the others. I really love Anya's "Sociopath"... such a cute song with a hard-to-associate name (er, mind the vid, listen to the background music...). Just like Lily Allen's well-received "Fuck You", which was butchered by the FCC.

Talking about cute songs, here's one by Soko. Unlike Lily Allen's thought-provoking lyrics, Take My Heart's almost toooooooooo innocently sweeeeet =)

These sweet uncorrupted thoughts remind me of a time when I dream of nothing but princesses and fairytales... and when kids are safe to roam and play freely on the once peaceful streets of Ipoh...

p/s: I cycled to Coles with Zax yesterday night and saw these while I have this HUGE craving for choc cookies... This is as close as I can get to Pipi for the moment... =~~ (

pp/s: before you get your hopes high, please wipe that stupid grin off your face coz I'm not gona eat the dog food la you doof... you know who you are... swt...

and yea, I'm sorry but I'm not exactly thrilled that you guys are moving out...

...though it can be a good thing for you peeps.

*sniff* *sniff*

I know I may sound selfish by not being supportive but...

...who's gona eat the dog food then? =(

Men.

Time: 6:27am
Location: How!5, Clayton.

..."Bros before Hos", "Muffs before Mates"...

Women are either Hos or Muffs.
Clearly, men came up with these..,
and I have to say, their imagination's pretty limited = p

p/s: The Inbetweener's HILARIOUSSSSS~

Davyn: "It's Cool That Way"

Time: 6:21am
Location: How!5, Clayton.

Do you feel it?

Coz I don't. *sigh*

In the middle of the night...

Time: 4:35am
Location: Comp Room, Howitt.

I so wanna go for a run right now. Maybe it's a way of 'running' away from my commitments... my responsibilities... my life?

It would be great if I'm at home right now... Watching something random on the TV, having Pipi sleeping there, running on the treadmill in my PJs... something liberating about running in my pikachu nightgown. lol.

Anyway, had fun in the basketball match just now!

Howitt played against Richardson and Farrer just now... The gals, need I say... did a fantastic job! The gals won 46 to 6 for the first match and 24 to 18 (I think) for the second. And OMG, I was appalled by how DIRTY the Farrer guys can get! Can't blame Kane for disliking them so much... and owhh, did I mention that Kane finally played -for the first time- today? *kudos kawan*

It wasn't as bad as that day... WHOA, the gals totally trashed Normanby... we won by 49 points!!

Was awesomely CRAZY... or crazily AWESOME!

Anyhooo, was reflecting on my PR skills and it's time to make some adjustments... again... I think. I'm loosing out here... hmmm... random.

Back to the basketball game earlier this evening, I played! The best game (within my capability that is...) so far~

I got to play the way I did (my personal best) due to a number of deciding factors:-

1. The opponents were not pro players like Erin (this awesome aussie gal in my floor...) and Jacky and athletic like Casey.

2. They only had 5 players, no subs. So the players were like really really worn out. Our last match on Friday was exactly the same. Though we won by less than a 10 marks margin, we only had 5 players including me (me being the sub and all).

Then came 2nd half, Alex (another valuable asset of the team, since she played netball and all...) chipped the nail of her right thumb. It looked really painful but she didn't biatch about it... (unlike Iggy about his healing but still really gross looking toe =p)... So, there were only 4 of us, against 5 of the gals. Luckily Erin was there... she kicked assssss man!

SO, as I was saying, I actually managed to dribble the ball, crossing the half court line, stole a ball, distracted a couple of fellow opponents while they were passing the balls, did a (sorta) rebound, and shot... TWICE~ buahahhahahahahaha!!! so what if I missed, I tried =p

Well, they had their strength also ok?! I didn't exactly share this with Davyn and Kane (like I normally do..) coz I felt this is somewhat inappropriate (and coz I'm actually a really shy gal... hehe...).

Like there's this player from Richardson who has like HUGE racks... She's not exactly on the skinny side of the scale either (much like me, only with big boobs), and she wore a super low cut spaghetti to play basketball!! Since I'm not a guy nor am I a boob person, I'm not distracted by the view... The annoying part was, every time I went up to block her (SOME physical contact is unavoidable) she's like so sweaty!! Felt so disgusted ok?!!

Owhh, another thing. Took Iggy's advice about bending my knee while playing... did helped me in reacting a little faster. lol... never felt so noob. Nonethelesss, felt great after the game. Gave myself a pat on the back and walked home with a slight grin on my face... *dramatic*

p/s: CA checked out the website and apparently there's this deal about $386 for four tix of Wicked, the Musical. I SO wanna gooooooo!!!

pp/s: and oooo, did I mention that I made chrysanthemum tea that day? SO what if it's not a big deal for you... It is for me =) I even called grams... I do miss her cooking. Feel like she's giving me that 'duh' look the whole time I was asking her how to make chrysanthemum tea. lol. She's so cute lor.

Crown!

Time: 7:06am

Location: How!5, Clayton

My gawd, I'm SOOO in the mood for blogging while I should be doing my assignment... But... but... the Mentalist's got new episodes! I hope there's a season 5 for Criminal Minds... totally lurved the new episode. I especially dig the unexpected endings.

Aric, Jun wannabe =p.
Girls, being girls.

Anyways, we had dinner in this Empress place where Zax's been going on and on about, along Lt. Bourke St., after crossing Russell St. from Swanston St. LoL... finally getting the hang of the street names =)

So, they came and met me in Melbourne Central after shopping in DFO!

Ben, Zax.
Zax and his new weird look.

Jan, Chieh Ai, Kane.

Evil... I wanna go too.. ishh...

So, we met Jan, this friend of Kane who looked really familiar... like I've seen from somewhere, and ZOMG, this is SO NOT a pickup line. I think I should stop/cut down the time I spend on FB... I'm blurring reality and virtual reality... ishhh...

yea... After dinner, we finally went to Crown!

LoL. so ulu =p

Kane's like a kid in a candy shop (or CA in a shoe shop... lol), with Jan, the besties went on to tour the place. It wasn't that big afterall!

We can't really take pics in the casino, plus CA & I decided not to gamble. Having nothing to do, I opted for a drink =)

Hypnotized.

I ordered Hypnotize, and it was $15. So yea, was ok... a little too sweet and tasted a little too much like medicine for my liking.

Zax ditched us after losing $50... Ben lost $5. Iggy lost $50. Jan won $80... and the biggest winner of the day was none other than Kane, who obviously had beginner's luck and won $205!!

One of the random stuff that we did.
as in.. Stood in the cold.
and took this pic for Kane.

Geez.

lol, Jan looked at me like one kind lor...
haha, like annoyed or sth.
Wonder Why =)

No, we didn't do what we, as friends were supposed to do... We didn't MILK him dry. lol~

COZ we're GOOOOD people!!!

Anyhoo, I suggested that we hang out later by not taking that 12:30pm bus, thinking that there's bus in 30 minutes. So we had drinks in Hungry Jacks... It turned out that night rider's 30 minutes bus intervals starts after 1:30am. lol...

It was ok, we talked. Took pics. Did random stuff... Reached MRS at 2-ish.

Chocolate in the Library!

Time: 5:32am
Location: How!5, Clayton.

Wesak Day Event in Fed Square.

lol, yea... like my life, my bedtime's pretty screwed up too.

I kinda realized that embarrassing things seem to happen when I hang out with my friends... seriously, I think I need to reconsider my choice of friends =p (and no, i'm pretty sure it's not me, it's them.. hehe)

Well, to be honest, these embarrassing incidents are what we'll look back and laugh at in years to come... So... er... thank you all for these 'memorable' incidents?

JY's Veg Nasi Goreng.

My A$8.00 oil-drenched Nasi Goreng and
A$3 so-called Teh Tarik.

So after eating the Sambal Kampung with Jing Yi, Cooper's friend... we headed over to Victoria State Library at around 4pm. I've been there quite a few times in the past months (partly coz I feel smarter everytime I walk through the automatic sliding glass doors) and it's safe to say that no one checked my bag, like ever, for food and drinks.

Apparently mineral water's not allowed too!

As I was planning to crash in JY's bro's place later that day, I had a box of assorted beverages, a bar of Lindt for JY (coz Chieh Ai scored an awesome deal of 12 X 125g Milk Choc Lindt for $9) I figure why not... since sharing is caring =p ... and a bottle of mineral water that I'll normally have with me wherever I go.

We (JY & I) were actually STOPPED by the guard and were asked to open our bags! NEVER before in my life that I was checked/suspected of carrying something I'm not supposed to... not even through Customs... wait... I think there was this one time that the cinema guard asked me and Sze Vien to open our bags at the entrance in Summit... other than that, NO.

I couldn't do anything else but opened my bag, revealing the choc bar and water bottle...

There's this lady guard was like showing her ***** face and told us off sternly... There's this other male security who was standing beside her quickly added,

"er, basically you can just put it in the locker, in the locker room coz we can't guarantee if you leave the chocolate with us here that she *pointing at the d*lan female guard* won't eat it all.. ha.. ha".

Lucky for him, if not we would have given her our deadly stare!!! While the whole time there were so many people passing us by, carrying bigger, fishier bags!

FINE. Being our (penny-wise) selves, ofcos we didn't spend an extra $2 to hire a small locker nor did we pay $3 for a big one. JY slid that choc in her notebook bag and I stuffed the water bottle under dmy clothes... Fortuitously for JY's smart thinking about stuffing the choc in her notebook bag instead of her handbag, when we tried to get in the 2nd time, she asked to check her bag too!! Like... wth...

Who would have thought... JY being so the smart =p

So, after we went in the library, we took quite some time to find a 2 empty tables... the problem was, we were short of 1 chair. We walked in and out and all about and finally,I found one... and it was with wheels! Which is both a good and bad thing.

Being really conscious to appear lady-like infront of so many people with their judging eyes, AND pushing the chair at the same time, was easier said than done. The wheels made so much noise that I repeatedly whispered 'sorry' for every step I take... Again, I didn't manage to escape the judgemental glances from their woeful eyes...

Judgemental glances...
Like this cocky bird.
Staring at me as if wanting to pick a fight.. lol.

10 minutes in while we were settling in to our desks, JY's pc died on her. Acer. lol. She took out the plug and tried to connect to her pc. There were 2 sockets on each desks. No luck there. Tried mine, can't work either.

Coincidentally there was this jolly looking security guard who was passing by... We asked if the electricity's on in the part of the room... guess what he said...

"owh, this section has been out of electricity for months now... all the other sockets along here and there are working fine..."

We followed the trail of his fingers and realised that the sockets everywhere in the library were working, just not the 3 rows of tables that we happened to be using.

Just our luck LOR!

Then JY went out to scout for empty spots... and FINALLY, I found two empty tables next to each other with working sockets and quiet (most importantly, indifferent) neighbour.

Perfect! Looking at the clock, it's already around 5pm.

So... after the library closed (at 6pm), we went our separate ways and live happily ever after... The End.

LoL... well, she went home to drop off some stuff and to grab a jacket while waiting for Ju Ju for dinner... for some reasons she's really shy and missed out on dinner with the gang.
Rebels in the library!!
(ok, this line sounded way cooler in my head)
our celebratory Lindt Milk Choc~

and yes, I drank my plain water tooo. 3 sips and 1 big thirst-quenching gulp. Take that lady security guard!!

Hope no one saw us camwhoring =p

It would have been great if my friends get to meet my friends. Well, not the same friends... I mean like.. other friends... meeting other friends... hmm... this is getting really confusing... well, you get what I mean... ishh....

An encouter with a sales person.

Time: 4:15am
Location: How!5, Clayton.

lol, tonight was... cold.

Not in a bad way though. maybe I kinda got used to the idea of shivering in the cold, and enjoy it =)

LoL, another variation of Stockholm Syndrome.

So, discussed with Jing Yi on Friday night (which was technically saturday morning) about our elaborate but nonetheless productive plan for Saturday. We planned everything, down to the very detail.

We planned to meet and eat pancake in the pricey pancake parlour in Collins St. at 10-ish in the morning. Then off we go to that RWEALLLY attractive warehouse sales near Lygon... Then Ju Ju can go to her group discussion thingy in Melb U at 12. After shopping, Jing Yi and I plan to go to the state library to study... until 6pm. Then, we'll hang around to meet up with Ju Ju and my friends to have dinner in Empress. After that, I was supposed to follow Jing Yi back to her bro's place and spend a sweet romantic night with Cooper, having him sit by me while I finish my assignment...

Yesh! All's sunny and well... until the dawn of saturday morning.

We were innocently sanguine about our ability to wake up early on a saturday morning.

Atleast I woke up at 11-ish =p Jing Yi woke up at 12:35pm, which was good, as that was when I was about to board the bus to go to Huntingdale station.

So, I waited at Fed Square for Jing Yi to show up after checking out the little Wesak Day Food Fair thingy that she told me about. There were food alright. Like one pitiful hotdog stand selling hotdogs and stuff... I went there just in time to see the last performance.

As I was trying to get in the mood to study (comm ethic is a pain!!) there's this gal who approached me and asked me if I have 5 minutes for a chat. She was wearing this thin cardigan (much like mine) and holding a file in her hand... Which, made her look like a sales person. I don't really have much to do but to wait for JY to get her arse outa bed, she asked me if I've heard of God and what I thought of Jesus.

I wasn't entirely impressed by her subtlety becoz her approaching me (in the middle of a Wesak day event) about Christianity, didn't exactly make me feel like she respects other religions at all. Nevertheless, she went on explaining about sins, that we are all born sinners and are meant to go to hell as death is the only way to pay for our respective sins. I do agree about everyone's a sinner, though we are not borned a sinner, it's just in our natural instinct to cheat, lie, steal... be it as self-perseverance or improvement, there were some things however that I don't see eye to eye with.

She talked about identity, that we don't have a choice but be who we are. What she said was true to a certain extent, but i've always been taught about the prevalence of nurture to nature. So yea, generall I believe that what you are can be, though not necessarily, who you are.

Then she talked about Satan's the one creating sickness and sufferings like natural disasters, diseases and the recent eco crisis, which I strongly disagree about. Marx warned about the imperfections of capitalism and that this eco crisis IS part of the inavoidable negative consequences of business cycle, like the burst of Japanese asset price bubble in the early 90s, totally manmade.

I was still ok until she talked about her own testimony, out of so many testimonies saying that people see miracles after 'accepting' God... She kind of lost me somewhere about a friend getting what she wants in her hostel and facing less problem/less troubled by her problems since the acceptance of God. I think she give herself too little credit what she achieved all these years... I don't deny that by having faith encourage a person to grow stronger, more confident and more focused on doing good... She made it sound like by accepting God, that famine can be cured, poverty can be eradicated, world peace can be achieved. She even talked about the Nigerian kids being Christians and that made it all better.

Like... er... no. That's not what's happening on the other side of the world where a nutritious meal a day is what they could only prayed for and that clean water is as rare as Kenny not being killed in South Park. Marx argued about nature of individuals depends on the material conditions... She, positioned as a 2nd child of a middle income family, don't need to worry about if she can afford a $6 rice for dinner and living in a place where food is available everywhere, thinks that God almighty is everything.

Yes, God can provide spiritual guidance and hope for the hopeless... but why are you denying other religions having the capability of achieving these wishes? It might just be me... thinking too much.

However, I do realize where all these came from... It comes from faith to a higher spiritual authority that is known by many names, by different people. And for her, it's just so happen to be God. As you can't believe in one without the other... I believe in Nirvana, thus the existence of Hell. She said that Hell is not a place of torture, hellfire all that jazz... It's merely a place without God. As God is almighty, God is Love and Peace and Happiness... Hell is just a place without all those God represents.

I believe that religion is fundamentally good, preaching personal physical and spiritual well-being. Just one thing... do good and good will happen to you... and respect others before you wish to gain other peoples' respect.

Listening and burning the Midnight Oil~

Time: 4:26am
Location: Comp Room, How!2.

Studying alone in the computer room of Howitt, alone, reminds me of the days I spent in Sun-U Residence =)

The occasional visits from Ian, the residence security (aka the sandman, coz he's always the one chasing us off from the basketball court at 11pm -- hope the nickname sticks =))... The Sun-U security guards had easier jobs, they had survilliance cameras in the study rooms.

The cold/crisp air in the room. Ofcoz, in Sun-U, it would have been from the aircon but here... it's ofcoz from the outside. I especially enjoy the air outside Sun-U residence around 6am. When the sun's still not out yet but it's not as cold as 5am... remind me of the days that I used to swim at around 7:30am to avoid the crowds. Something about the still of the night that made me feel serene...

Anyhooo, it was really cold yesterday night while we were playing basketball. Well, probably coz I tried the "Chieh Ai" (always going outdoors without a jacket...).

LoL, anyhoo, I'm checking out this band called the Midnight Oil, apparently it's like Oasis in Australia, except being really political.

So, technically I'm listening to Midnight Oil while burning the Midnight Oil =)

Tech Determinism.

Time: 11:32am
Location: comp room, How!2, Clayton

Today pig pig totally lost it when she couldn't adjust the brightness of the monitor.

I was so mad at her for being SO reliant... Like, these are little things that you should know, but not tear up every time things don't happen the way you want to. Rant... Nag... Vent. There's always Internet and Google right?

I even told her straight that it'll come to a point that there won't be anyone else there but you to help yourself...

I don't know why I was so pissed about her not being able to take care of herself. Especially over little things like these...... Maybe I was a really concern about her and that was how my brain chose to react. That's what my dad always does anyway.

So, I googled "how to adjust display brightness on a windows XP pc" and surprisingly not much help came outa it, my ever reliable Google, failed me.

Google has never failed me!! Like that time when I want to retrieve the recycle bin icon on my desktop... It was so direct... so easy, regardless how poorly my sentence was framed.

Then I remembered that Iggy's still using XP and he too was clueless...

Technology these days... haiz. Can't Live with it, Can't Live without it.

Happy Wesak Day, Melbourne Style =)

Location: How!5, Clayton.

Had this totally cool Wesak Day experience... I owe it all to Zax.

Though now i'm feeling that ache creeping around my feet... legs... shoulders... since the adrenaline's wearing out and all.

In short, slept at around 4 am yesterday night...

woke up at 7 am this morning.

reached Flinders' Street at 8:30 am.

walked to City Hall for the Wesak Day celebration at around 9-ish.

-- and we never left the building till 7 pm -ish.

Davyn and Ben came to the City Hall to meet up with Zax, Kane, Chieh

met up with Gracia and went to this Indonesia diner at around 8 near melbourne central.

finally had good spicy belacan =)

Anyways, we went to Max Brenner AGAIN today =p

Awesomeee!!

Chieh Ai was ecstatic.

Then she went home with Kane (oooooooooo~ =p)

... so, Zax, Davyn, Ben, Gracia and I "accidentally" went to a pub~~ lol.

there's this pub near Russells St.. Baraki Bar.

tried Apple Martini (and it's surprisingly NOT green...) and Baraki Passion. Which, was tolerable ~

Reached home at 1:10am -ish.

to realize that we spent more than 18 hours outside today.. lol!

What a tiring Day. And WHAT a day it was... full of revelations...

update the photos later. =)

Ball Bang! (in cantonese)

Location: How!5, Clayton.

omg... it's over... it's ALL OVER...
Scrub's had its finale... =(

ep 8x18 & 8x19... *sobzz*

and there won't be a season 9... not with the same casts at least.
But WHY cruel world... WHY?!

so yea, adding to my list of firsts...

I finally got hit in the face with a ball!!

ok, so what if it's not a thing that you would normally be happy about but this is like one of the rite of passages to playing Basketball right?

or... it can mean that my reflexes' a little slow... call it cup half full but I'm celebrating~

Anyhoo, it was casey who threw the ball, this really athletic gal from Howitt. Really respect her stamina... and her skills in basketball... OK, I really admire her performance in sports.

the thing is, it was before that interhall basketball game on wednesday night, against Roberts...

... which, btw, we RAWKed!

lol, they rawked okay? The team won like 67-18. like... WOW.

Awesome or wert?!

p/s: THAT KANE "accidentally" (or so he claimed) hit me with my extremely heavy basketball when he said to have tried to make a shot with his exceptional bad shooting techniques
and missed... whom I returned the favour later that day *grinz*.

Never mess with the Junster! hmm, that nickname is never gona stick...

oooo yea, I finally watched Pushing Daisies... I'm SO loving it~ It's like a fairy tale! Well, a twisted little fairy tale~ No wonder Chieh Ai's sister lurved it =)

My hair... CUT.

Time: 4:49pm
Location: How5!, Clayton.

So, my fringe's been bugging me for a long long time now. but I don't have the balls to change my hairstyle as I have never been a big fan of visits to the hair saloon.

I'll either end up in tears, or complaining about it for months.

lol~

call me crazy but people always say how you carry yourself defines you. what you do defines you. you are what you eat. what you wear is how you want others to think about you... and crap like that.

Basically what you are is what people think of you. And how people think about you is how you want people to think about you.

So, I cut my hair. And my hair shouts CUTE.

...Which I'm so not.

In other words, I don't think I can pull a cute hairstyle... =(

anyways, my friends are not helping either...

there's Iggy who screamed in a girly manner when he saw me after my hair cut
"Jun ARH, what HAPPENED to you HAIR?!"... and repeat the same line every time we meet a old/new friend... He even called me Ah Lian. swt.

then there's Aric... who LOL, like... non stop when he saw me. He... can't even talk when he's like laughing so loud, continuously....

and there's Kane, who seized every opportunity to remind me that I looked weird, giving me that goofy grin, which translates to "hit me" and THAT FACE just begged for me to hit him, HARD.

then there's Joyce (who came to Clayton a few days back) asked if the barber (coz hair stylist would never embarass me like this) pay me for cutting my hair like this... evil...

Neo neo... my neo neo... said it (my haircut) reminded her of the toilet bowl... she doesn't even why...

FORTUNATELY (not all my friends are that evil =p),

I had few slightly positive remarks... like Chieh Ai, Kai Ling, Lucy Xie, Youna, and Elle... who think that it's ok... saying that I'm just not used to it =)

Well, I did try to cover it up for a couple of days but soon got tired of it as it is, actually more practical than it looked like. Though my old fringe looked better framing my face, this new fringe, no matter how Ah Lian it looked on me, doesn't block my view~

ok, so... A slightly better looking me, or a brighter view of the beautiful world?

...ooo, this is a tough one.
