"I now pronounce you husband and husband, you may now kiss your husband." If I can vote a movie, Best Comedy of the year would be this! Now I Pronounce You Chuck and Larry is hilarious!!
I see a trend happening here. Every year Adam Sandler will come out with a killer BIG MOVIE and shock the whole worlds. That's why movies in the past like Anger Management, Click (especially) have been so successful in the past. It's all about the Quality, not Quantity baby~ I'm not sure if Happy Madison belongs to him...
Anyways, after all the talk, presentations, researches about this binary projection (female vs male and nothing else) heterosexuality was like those Chinese prostitutes, everywhere and nowhere. It's too common nowadays, people need something ELSE to laugh about.
The producer: "Hey, homosexuality is 'In' right now. Why not put some smoking HOT firemen from Brooklyn and make them, well, GAY. That'd be fun!" and Ta-da, a brand new chart topping hit.
Brokeback Mountain marks the watershed of the film industry. It's like the bible for all those subsequent movies that film about gays or lesbians (do you realise that lesbians are not as amusing as gays?).
Ok, back to the movie, Adam Sandler's movies have a way of cracking you up so hard at the beginning and make you leave the cinema with happy tears. This movie is no different. There's a few things that are worth mentioning.
Remember that Hot Chicks guy? The really scrawny looking, awkwardly amusing with his huge feminine eyes? He's Taiwanese or something in this movie and HILARIOUS! I trace his face i my database at first until he speaks. Funny I tell you!!!
Then there's Jessica Biel, HOT man~ The Boob grabbing part was certainly funny as hell. Cannot imagine how was the environment on set while filming. All those bystanders (Mr JT included) must be so jealous (provided that they haven't got to 2nd base, which I doubt). Ohhh, and then there's Lance Bass. My gawd!! I wanted to say that he's hot with his dreamy eyes but there's just something women-ish about him. Like maybe it's because of him coming out of the closet that made it more appropriate for him to appear on this movie (since it's about gays). I seriously haven't seen him on screen for some time now, since 'On the Line'
This is definitely a melodramatic (imo) Chick Flick where guys can participate too.
