My American Dream.

Location: Building 9, level 5, Monash University, Malaysia.

Striding through the corridors outside the computer labs, I couldn't conceal my glee in accidentally 'discovering' the link between building 5 and building 2 in my trip in search of the toilet.

If there's dissatisfaction in Monash I'd like say, apart from complains about our higher monetary expenses in Monash's cafeteria (Yen, Nicole and I went back to Sunway University's cafeteria that day to find that we miss spending less money on similar food. I could've swore that that campus missed us too, it rained so heavily, so much so that we stayed longer in that Sunway Uni Campus and had to be 5 minutes late for our COM tutorial class. And that's not only because we kicked Nicole's slippers everywhere and played in the rain like little kiddies from primary schools, wait... more like pre-schoolers) I really think that the 'new and improved' Monash campus, however majestic it looked on the outside, is lack of TOILETS!

It's so hard to find a toilet especially in building 9 where all the computer labs are (tutes are naturally attracted to computer labs, like those ants to sugar or me to any humour tickling tv series). In levels 2 and 4, it's almost close to impossible to find a toilet to pee or poo. Maybe the engineers thought like hey, since they're all gona study anyway, why build toilets? So that they can waste time peeing and pooping?

I'm sure the medicine and bio students will agree that peeing and pooping are essential for any person's health!! Like... we have the right to peeing and pooping I tell you!!!

Oh, on a more serious note, I messed up again. This time, it's big. It affected my 3-year-plan. You know, it's unfair for highly mediated people like me. I stepped into the university with hopes and promises of wild parties, lotza booze, cute guys and not worry about my grades. Instead, I'm buried under the utter disappointments. 4 times the disappointment to be empirically exact.

I'm in search of my American Dream. American University-Life Dream. You darn Americans! Providing me with all these delicately articulated (but now broken) dreams.
