anyways, I'm taking Global Indigeneity this sem and even though the lecturer for the Australian Aboriginal section was just hopelessly confusing, the clip she showed us was brilliant.

What an interesting take on the aboriginal issues in Australia during the 70s-80s. Highly controversial issues from land rights, 'protection' to 'assimilation' policies and the 'extinguishment' of aboriginal people in Australia were presented in a entertaining yet extremely cynical view on the Australian Government...
If stuff like that were shot in Malaysia, it wouldn't even be shown on tv, what's more on the national networks...
