First Paper =)

Time: 6:21am

Location: Howitt Comp Room, Clayton.

LoL, yup! pulled another all nighter... planning to go out tonight! Saneeta, this really demure and polite Journalist-to-be's going back... *sniffs* She's such a sweet gal... soft spoken AND sweet...

well, tonight seemed so LONG AWAY... sitting in the computer room alone yet again, choking on my very thick (but very colorful =)) marketing textbook.. I just can't wait to get this over with. It's like I'm over confident or anything... It's more like I'm... tired. lol.

Oooo, about yesterday night... was AWESOME! I'll update more about it later.

This 21st's UBER special for me
due to a couple of reasons
(apart of having warm sheets to lay in on my bday night =) --- think I'm in love with the 6th floor's dryer... the 4th floor's totally incompetent and the 5th's always occupied for some reasons...)

1. I turned 21! *duh*

2. I got to spend it oversea!! Which was a first =)

3. Got a really sweet buncha friends who took the effort to do something for me even though it's exam season... *toucheddd*

4. The invention of facebook... Thanks for all ya bday wishes... made me feel reallly special =) I can go as far to say that it's the best read before bed, ever! (... and coz I still haven't gotten over the fact that THEY went to Gold Coast!! ...and I was feeling pretty emo about it when they called me before flying back to Malaysia. lol... grudges... )

5. Koko remembered to wish me this year =)

... and the list goes on...

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

... Keeper's Cup.

Time: 6:05pm
Location: How5!, Clayton

So, I was reading Lot's Wife (Monash's Magazine... only much much better than Monga.. er.. sorry to say that la...) and found out about Moon and Keeper's Cup, among other things like... sea sponges and Moon Pads.

I do hope that you guys are mature enough and not make a big fuss out of it, like Kane did =p what a baby.

Find it to be really interesting and might just give it a try...

I feel so jakun lor! Never heard of it before reading this... never knew it CAN even be reusable.

The thing is... i don't know the size... more like I don't know my size. Plus, I'm not very fond of the idea of tampoons either, so not sure this is gona work for me.

BUT BUTTTT... The benefits are pretty tempting! safe money, summore it's spill-proof! Well, they got me at spill proof. I've never had spills before (or I've had but subconsciously blocked it out of my memory...) but I've seen people who has it... and I sure hope I'll never have it. lol. and hate being like hyperconscious when it's that time of the month.

Anyhooo, back to work. I'm so the tired for no reason today... plus it's so chilly our there!! Left my phone in the gym yesterday and had to walk there early in the morning to retrieve it.

Again, advantages of having an old, undesirable phone =)

... not sure if I should be happy or sad about it...

and...
mom and dad and bro's in Gold Coast now.
having a blast.
spending good quality family time.
without me.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
p/s: this website is so cool!!! good marketing scheme... http://producten.hema.nl/

SPAM. EXAM.

Time: 12:49pm
Location: Comp room, Howitt.

went to the campus today.. FREAKING cold ok?! I was wearing thongs and felt like my toes are about to fall out any second.

anyhooo, ticked a few things off my to-do list. Finally sent the mails that I've been putting off... cost A$1.40/each! omg.

I went to trim my hair in the campus center... coz I felt like it. Turned out that it's not that costly afterall. It actually cost up to 20 bucks for a haircut but like... the lady felt so sorry for my brutally chopped-up hair that she only charged me A$15. It's not like she didn't wanna cut my hair, my hair's just too short and beyond repair... she reckoned that I go back in a month's time swt

So, I'm gearing up for the exams!! Com ethics and policy is killing me... Starting to NOT regret for NOT taking law. Phew!

Some updates, been hitting the gym for 8 days in a roll, taking a breather today. Starting all over again tomorrow =)

and OWHH, I almost forgot! The main purpose of writing this entry is to rant about the unethical spam messages I've been receiving!! My last straw was the message about some random facts that I received about half an hour ago. I decided to call up Optus at 1300 555 002, then I was transfered to this other department... and then another department.

After holding for quite sometime, they told me that I was subscribed to, not 1, but 2 things! And I got sooooo furious when I realised that each message cost A$6.60! I've received quite a few over the months. And it all traced back to that IQ test thing I did on facebook.

... Facebook...

says who it's 'free'?

anyways, to those victims out there... sms STOP to 1975 6789 and 1999 0222, to stop receiving these spam messages.

Back to work =~ (

Happy Dumpling Festival =)

Time: 3:37am
Location: How!5, Clayton.

Oooo, mommy msn-ed me today... telling me it's The Dragon Boat Festival, also called the Duanwu Festival, also called the dumpling festival....
hmm, wonder why everything is food to me... lol.

I used to listen to mommy complain about not able to eat dumpling coz I'm born a day before the 5th day of the 5th month in the chinese/lunar calender.

Grams makes the best Dumpling! She'll make it every year with Er Yi... mommy and daddy even brought some down to KL for me last year. I threw it in the freezer and that 4 dumpling lasted me for quite some time...

p/s: the pics are not the ones made by Grams but sure miss 'em this year =(

Time: 3:22am
Location: Comp Room, Howitt.

I'm... Screwed.

Darn you, The Simpsons!

*edited later @ 4:23am*

read this:
"Black Africans account for 73 percent of the population, followed by Whites at 16 percent, Coloureds at 6 percent and Asians at 4 percent"...
Source: http://www.joburg.org.za/content/view/404/52/

There's black, white, Asians... and coloreds? Wait, are you telling me that there's purple or green people in this world that I don't know about?!

Waking up after dark... Geez.

Time: 5:57pm
Location: How!5, Clayton.

OMG... I couldn't believe my eyes when I woke up...

It's 5:30pm, and it's already dark outside!

I slept at around 12pm, to wake up after dark.

This week is gona be hell to me... well, pre-hell, before the real one, aka exam.

haiz... Assignments = headaches.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

and by the by, I think I'm making this a thing from now on. Monday morning/afternoon is cooking time! I was supposed to try this baking thing and it's supposed to last for around 2 meals. But once I started, I couldn't STOP!!

one palm size Field mushroom, one huge white onion (I still don't know what's the difference between white and red onions, despite the color...) around 7 spoon of Dolmio Bolognese pasta sauce, half a bulb of garlic, a can of 425g of Tuna in brine (minus the brine), 3 small fresh chillies, 1/3 of 500g cheddar (sliced, not grated, in retrospect, grated cheese would be better...), 2 eggs, hell lot of ground pepper, many many shakes of McCormick Italian Seasoning Blend later...

It evolved into this HUGE pan of pasta that I think will last me for around 4 meals... excluding today's lunch... lol. It's actually not bad... coz I normally cook without putting salt/sugar. It's a little sweet with that whole clove of onion... and a little salty with the hard layer of cheddar on top. Plus, I prefer eating my stuff spicy than salty/sweet.

- yea, too much cheese. -

These was what I attempted last week... with that 4 for $5 Maggie quick-bake cauliflower thingy... I improvised coz not really a fan of cauliflower.. broccoli tastes much better ok?!

* Before*

*After*

Was so the salty lor... MSG ladden pan of baked vegetables...

Mommy will be proud that I cooked =)

Words to Me...

pp/s: I can't wait to finish my assignments and cook Cake Batik!!
(or Cake Lapis for that Sarawakian...
haiz... living in denial.)
