The condo's connection went down again. *sigh* It poured soooo heavily yesterday, when I looked out from my 12th floor unit, all I saw was blurrrr. totally cannot even see Monash, or the construction site right across the road from my condo.
I was supposed to be studying.. but no surprise here.. I'm so relaxed now while the exam's tomorrow. THIS is not a good sign.. I felt like I barely studied, which is because I rarely studied.
I'm so gona fall flat tomorrow.
Anyways, here's something in the headlines yesterday that caught my eye.
I don't think there's any explaination needed for this. I am just amazed that this news even got out of the country.

It Isn’t Magic: Putin Opponents Are Made to Vanish From TV
By CLIFFORD J. LEVY
Critics of the government, and of Vladimir V. Putin, have been placed on a roster of individuals barred from TV news and political talk shows.
The topic was about media freedom and this sparked the whole issue...
MOSCOW — On a talk show last fall, a prominent political analyst named Mikhail G. Delyagin had some tart words about Vladimir V. Putin. When the program was later televised, Mr. Delyagin was not.
Not only were his remarks cut — he was also digitally erased from the show, like a disgraced comrade airbrushed from an old Soviet photo. (The technicians may have worked a bit hastily, leaving his disembodied legs in one shot.)
Some memorable quotes
# "All the major national and regional networks are now owned by the government or its allies. And since the presidential election in March, neither Mr. Putin nor Mr. Medvedev has indicated any interest in loosening the reins.
“Our television is very often criticized,” Mr. Medvedev said in April. “They say it is boring, it is pro-government, it is too oriented towards the positions of state agencies, of those in power.”#
Sounds familiar?
So folks, when you're messing with the Big Boys, prepare to get burnt...
