Been OD-ing on Ugly Betty recently. You have NO IDEA HOW many times I squeaked... I mean... talked in a non-high pitched tone... in DISBELIEF on how LUCKY Betty is yet I don't MIND being her.. living her life...

yes, at this point I wanna clarify that I do know that Ugly Betty's fiction.. BUTTTTTTT... what's fiction anymore right? Every piece of fiction is, to some extent, built from reality. Well, very selective parts of reality.

and I wanna say... Henry is, hot. lol. much like Jack MacFarland's explanation of Hot Gay Nerd, I think it's safe to say that Henry is.. well... borderline on his sexuality. AND Calvin's not bad too... lol. his weird/awkward sense of humour I totally get =p

owh yea, I was supposed to write something about bro being back home for Christmas.. and that we had Japanese in Royal Ipoh Club's Kizuna for dinner.. been there 3 times since we came back ald... We were never that conventional to begin with =) The food's quite overpriced if you ask me and it puzzles me why people liked it so much.

I ended up watching Avatar with ah Kai, my 11 y/o kid Godbro... coz they won't let him in to watch Bodyguards and Assassins, while mommy, daddy, Wai Po and 13 y/o kid Godbro watched on the other room.

lol, I keep seeing the shadows of Pocahontas playing behind Avatar... the whole 'indie' free but strong spirited gal and a broken but hard-headed guy concept... age old formula to a great Hollywood Blockbuster. Coupled with the issues of climate change and environmental problems...

Hong and Kai's totally in the Kung Fu phase hence the choice of movie. I'm actually looking forward for the pasar malam session after the movie... YAY, Chow Tau Fu!!!

I went to this 72nd Kinta Scout Troop's gathering in Yuk Choy yesterday and it brought me back.. like... WAY back.

Yuan Han knew I'm bored out of my brains so she asked me to be on of the few designated photographers there for the event, which, I found was a little redundant as digital cameras are so afordable these days and practically everyone has a phone with atleast a VGA 640x480 pixels camera built in.

Though I'm a deactivated Guide, it really reminded me of the times we all spent together... Girl Guide WAS my world... many moons ago.

I still love it though, parts of it... parts where hierarchy and politics are impermissible. I left because I couldn't love all of it.

Plus, it was great to meet so many old friends/rivals (coz these sorts of gatherings are where the Scouts and Guides come to battle... not to socialize/learn from each other through competitions) from Yuk Choy, Sam Tet and PGS, my alma mater ofcoz. Some of them I haven't met since I graduated from high school.. It's about TIME...

Anyways, as much as I grumble about PGS being inadequate or lack thereof, I did learn a lot, growing up and out of there. Not exactly happy about all the choices I made, they were mine nonetheless... and am living with 'em now. Though it was a hard decision to make, dwelling on the 'what ifs' and 'what could've beens' will serve me no good...

ooo, just sent pig pig to Medan Gopeng, to go to KL, to go to Taiwan... for 21 days!!! Think she'll do fine anyway... she's resilient =)

anyways, just wanna say... I'm sOoOOOOOoooOOOoo happy being able to eat some many things that I didn't get to before.. buahahahah! Chow Tau Fu... Lui Cha... u name it... lol.

and finally.. am watching 2012 with my parents later today.... joy. no really, I'm really looking forward to the popcorns! the Aussies don't really like caramel popcorns... ishhh....

and there's this uncle, parents' friend who practices chinese traditional medicine told me I'm exposed to the risk of diabetes and will guarantee to see the result, if not sooner, during my first pregnancy due to excessive consumption of chilli... apparently chilli will disrupt the normal functions of ur pancreas, hence increasing the probability of being diabetic.

ZOMG... so... chilli or diabetes? ooo... tough one.
